Karan Khandelwal Feels Rain Plays A Spoilsport As It Abruptly Disturbs Shoots

Talking about shooting in rainy season, Karan Khandelwal says, "As much as I love monsoons, it is becoming difficult to shoot in the season."

With the rains, the city is blooming with greenery all around and the beautiful fragrance of ‘Geeli Mitti’ refreshes everyone’s day. Karan Khandelwal, who is romantic at heart, loves it as it is the season of romance. But when it comes to shooting his Dangal TV show Ranju ki Betiyaan, he thinks the rain plays a spoilsport as it abrupt disturbs shoots.

Talking about the same, Karan says, “As much as I love monsoons, it is becoming difficult to shoot in the season. It pours heavily without any warnings due to which our shoot schedules go haywire. There have been so many days when we had to run back to our make-up rooms before we would be completely drenched. Also recently, we had an outdoor shoot, a couple of minutes away from our make-up room. Jeevansh and I were getting ready in our rooms when it started pouring heavily. So we decided to stay back for some time. But the director called and yelled at us questioning why we were late. He wouldn’t believe it was raining as the sun was shining bright on the set. As we failed to convince him, we decided to go to the set. And by the time we reached there, it was raining and we eventually had to go back. It felt like we took the clouds along with us. But I’m glad the director finally believed us. (Laughs)”

Monsoon is indeed a romantic season but we hope it co-operates with the artists.

Ranju Ki Betiyaan is a heart touching story of a single mother Ranju and her struggles of raising 4 daughters in a patriarchal society. It delves into the various societal issues faced by single mothers, and will witness Ranju empowering herself to raise her four daughters single-handedly to help them achieve their dreams.
