Jeetendra On Ekta Kapoor’s Lock Upp: “I Don’t Watch Such Things”

Check out what Jeetendra has to say about daughter Ekta Kapoor's controversial reality show 'Lock Upp'.

Ekta Kapoor’s reality show Lock Upp has become one of the most-watched OTT shows and has crossed 200 million views. The show hosted by Kangana Ranaut features controversial celebrities locked up in jail, deprived of amenities. While Lock Upp has got everyone hooked, Ekta Kapoor’s father Jeetendra doesn’t have much to say about it.

During a recent media interaction, Jeetendra was asked about his views on Ekta’s show Lock Upp and the buzz around it. He replied, “I don’t understand and I don’t watch such things. So, I can’t comment on it.”

However, appreciating Ekta’s hard work and success, Jeetendra added, “I don’t interfere in her work. She has done everything on her own. I am happy. I feel good when her show works.”

80-year-old Jeetendra has been acting in films since 1959. In today’s time, when the focus has shifted to OTT, the journalists asked Jeetendra if he has any plans to work on OTT projects. The veteran actor replied, “No. I have done a lot of work. I am happy and content. My daughter is doing it.”
