Offering one such opportunity for the contestants, the show will host a special episode called, ‘Tribute to Javed Saab.’ Welcoming the man who has amazed the world with his heartfelt words, the legendary Javed Akhtar will be seen gracing the sets of Indian Idol.
In the upcoming episode, Javed Akhtar will be seen cheering Danish Mohd on his breathtaking performance on ‘Afreen Afren’. Danish Mohd will be seen riding high on emotions after Javed Saab compliments him by saying that there’s a Jhalak of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in you.
Praising Danish Mohd performance, Javed Akhtar said, “You reminded me of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab. He was a huge sufi artist. There are very less people like him in this world. His nature was very simple, calm, and innocent.”
Talking about Javed Sir complimenting his voice Danish Mohd says, “Breathing the same air as that of Javed Sir is a big thing for anyone.
