“Bigg Boss” fame Ishaan Sehgal couldn’t quite leave an impression on viewers with his early eviction from the show but the actor made headlines with his romance with “Splitsvilla” fame Miesha Iyer. However, the actor has been fortunate enough to bag a big deal, as per tabloids. The recent update about the “Naagin 6” show is that the male lead character of the show is finalized and if we were to believe them, it is Ishaan who has been selected for the role.
Earlier on “Bigg boss 15”, Ekta Kapoor had shared some inside details of the show. She had revealed how the new season of the show will see not one but two Naagins, one of which had already been finalized and the search for the second Naagin was still on. In fact, Ekta had been conducting extensive auditions where more than 55 actresses auditioned for the character. She further teases the audience giving them the hint of the female lead “Naagin” by saying that the actress’s name starts with an initial ‘M’. Since then fans have been speculating names like Mahima Makwana and Mahek Chahal as the female leads but with the new update, it’s clear that Ishaan is being considered for the male counterpart in the show.
The sources however mentioned that no contract has been signed so far and that things have not been made official yet. But the talks between the actor and the makers have reached an advanced level. While it was also rumored previously that “Bigg Boss 15” fame Tejaswwi Prakash is to okay the lead female character, however, Ekta cleared the air and revealed how no one has been finalized yet for that role.
It has also been rumored that the plot of this season is going to be extremely exceptional, it is speculated to revolve around the ongoing pandemic. The lead serpent of the show is said to have many superpowers, more than what we have seen in the previous seasons. Although there were rumors that Arjun Bijlani or Shaheer Sheikh was to play the male counterparts, it has now been speculated that it is in fact Ishaan hm who has been approached for the show.
