The upcoming weekend episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol Season 12, hosted by Aditya Narayan, judged by Anu Malik and lyricist Manoj Muntashir is going to be a musical bonanza. Viewers will see the boys and girls battle it out with their singing talents where, Anu Malik will be leading the girl’s team and Manoj Mutanshir will be leading the boy’s team. Contestants Ashish Kulkarni who sang Jee Karda and Pachtaoge and Shanmukha Priya who beautifully sang Udi Teri Aankhon Se, received some rave reviews from the judge’s side! Adding
on to the singing quotient, Anu Malik said, “You both are absolute performers, it gives me immense pleasure to listen to the songs sung by both of you. It was truly class apart.”.
Further in the show, when Aditya Narayan quipped Ashish Kulkarni to describe his rival Shanmukha Priya’s performance, he went on to say, “There is definitely no rivalry between me and Shanmukha Priya. We are like family and it will always remain that way. When I was unwell, it was Shanmukha Priya who was in constant touch with me and ensured I stay motivated. I used to give her timely updates be it on my recovery, eating habits and overall progress. She was always one call away and I am blessed to have a sister like her in my life.”
