Indian Idol 12: Ambulance Driver’s Daughter Won First Golden Mic

The much awaited season of Indian Idol 12 started on this weekend amidst the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic where ambulance driver's daughter Sayli Kamble won the first golden mic taking her straight to the theatre rounds of auditions.

The much awaited season of Indian Idol 12 is finally here. It started with a bang at Saturday on Sony TV where this is indeed amazing to know that an ambulance driver’s daughter won first golden mic.

Indian Idol 12, which has the ace singers Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, and Vishal Dadlani kicked off on Sony TV with much aplomb where fans and audiences were eagerly waiting for this season like every other year because it truly moulds a diamond out of singing contestants throughout the entire show. This is very good to see that Indian Idol 12 started off successfully amidst the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic where an ambulance driver’s daughter won first golden mic.

All the participating contestants came on the show with hopes and dreams of winning the golden mic and impress the judges with their mesmerizing performances in order to make it to the next rounds of auditions smoothly where the esteemed panel of judges comprising of Himesh, Neha and Vishal applauded and loved many contestant’s performances and especially also praised them for their hardwork, determination and talent.

In all the contestants, one of the contestants named Sayli Kamble ended up winning the judges hearts with her soulful rendition of legendary ace singer Asha Bhosle’s cult song Aao Naa Gale Lagao Naa and she also became one of the first contestants in this season to win a golden mic earning her the official entry into the final rounds of theatre auditions in Indian Idol 12 where Neha handed her the golden mic and even blessed her.

Sayli came with her father who is an ambulance driver in the show. Whilst on the stage, Sayli ended up recalling how tough and difficult it was for her and her family to work in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as the threat of COVID 19 was real and this bothered them a lot.

Her father also said about how he has been working as an ambulance driver from the past 20 years but sadly the COVID 19 period has been one of his most problematic years of service indeed. The judges lauded her father saying that his hardwork and determination paid off as the god has blessed her with such a beautiful voice.

Later, Sayli gets emotional on stage and hugs her father and after this, they both go forward to receive the golden mic leaving everyone emotional and in tears.
