Sony Entertainment Television’s magnum opus Punyashlok Ahilyabai is a period drama set in the 18th century, the show’s core lies in bringing forth the story of a woman, ahead of her times, who was relentlessly supported by her father-in-law Malhar Rao. At a time when societal rules and patriarchy dictated lives, education was a taboo for women, who were bereft of voice and basic rights, Ahilyabai stood out as a rare and exemplary example that a person becomes great not by gender or birth, but by deeds.
Actress Aditi Jaltare essays the pivotal role of young Ahilybai Holkar in the show. As the show currently depicts the journey of Ahilya who wishes to get educated and how the society condemns it until Malhar Rao Holkar fulfils her dream. Aditi, being a young student of class 6th shares her own experiences and very proudly claims that she has never had exam jitters.
Sharing more on same, Aditi Jaltare said, “I usually don’t have exam jitters. I take my time with the preparation and revision. Not to forget, consistency is key. I have always been a dedicated student who priorities studies over everything else. Even while shooting, I am very diligent with my academics as I make sure to utilise my time for revision in the shoot breaks. This leaves me confident and well assured to take the exams without jitters or anxiety looming over my head.”
