We all know that the ace and iconic television producer Gul Khan has given us path breaking and timeless hit love stories in form of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (IPKKND, Star Plus, 2011 – 2012) which starred Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani in leading roles of Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi Kumari Gupta and Ishqbaaaz (Star Plus, 2016 – 2019), which starred Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna in leading roles of Shivaay Singh Oberoi and Anika. In her recent interview, Gul Khan gets nostalgic on her hit shows IPKKND and Ishqbaaaz.

Its true that the love story of Arnav Khushi and Shivaay Anika resonated with the audiences and fans so much that they still reside in hearts of netizens, viewers and fans even years after the shows have gone off air and it’s a golden moment indeed as both these shows recently clocked 10 and 5 years respectively in tinsel town and speaking about the same in her latest interview, Gul Khan gets nostalgic on her hit shows IPKKND and Ishqbaaaz.
Fondly recalling all those times and cherishing the evergreen memories related to both her shows, Gul Khan gets nostalgic on her hit shows IPKKND and Ishqbaaaz.
Opening up on the fact that how there is still a huge section of fans and audiences who watch both these iconic shows on repeat even now on Hotstar, ace TV producer Gul Khan says, “There is no doubt that Ishqbaaz and Iss Pyaar ko.. have been our biggest milestones in the TV space. These 2 shows did not just create a space in the audience’s hearts but also created benchmarks in our Industry. With Ishqbaaaz turning 5 on 27th June and IPKKND turning a decade old on 6th June, I can certainly say that June has been very favourable for us”.
Speaking up on the massive fanbase and fan following which both these shows have created over the years now, Gul Khan asserts, “After a point of time we realized that the audience is so connected to these shows, that a lot affects them with respect to any changes we do to our shows. We tried our best to keep the level promising and up each time we delivered an episode to the channel. It is like watching Salman Khan or Rajnikant films, the audience comes with a pre-set mind and as makers, we need to give them the best. There is still a huge section of the audience that watches both these shows on repeat mode and as makers, there cannot be more joy than to know this”.
Revealing about her rapport and bonding with actors in both these shows and sharing how much on great terms she is with faces of both these shows, Gul said, “They are a part of my family now and are always there for me. It has been a pleasure working with each of them and I can definitely say that both the shows would have been incomplete without the amazing cast and the never-giving-up spirit of the crew members. Both Ishqbaaz and Iss Pyaar have created a space that is irreplaceable”.
