Farhana Fatema Birthday: Actress Gives A Biryani Party On Sets Of Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai

Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai actress Farhana Fatema feasts on Lucknowi cuisine for her birthday.

Actress Farhana Fatema is celebrating her birthday today. Seen essaying Shanti Mishra’s role in &TV’s Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai? the actor has received a lot of appreciation, especially her ashaant personality and love for her family in the show. Along with Farhana, even her character, Shanti Mishra, will be turning a year older this month and to celebrate the special moment, she plans to organize a Lucknowi feast on sets.

Sharing her plans about the celebration, Farhana Fatema says, “As we all know, hitting the food trail in Lucknow is nothing short of a pilgrimage for food lovers. Like me, many of the members on my sets, whom I also call my extended family, are from the same city. Whenever we have free time from the shoot, we like to go and eat the local delicacies. But there is one dish that we can’t get enough of, Biryani. So, I have decided to treat them to a special Lucknowi Biryani for my birthday. For the past two years, I have been unable to properly celebrate my birthday due to COVID. But this year I am extremely excited about it”. She further adds, “This year, my birthday is special to me for one more reason, as my character, Shanti Mishra, is also turning a year old in the same month. We started our “Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai” journey in March last year, and with the fans’ love and appreciation, they will soon complete a year by the end of this month. Hence, I have decided to add some more sweetness to the celebration by adding falooda and Zafrani Kheer to it (laughs)”.

Expressing her gratitude towards the show, Farhana says, “I previously worked in Mumbai, but I came back to Lucknow to be with my family and take care of them during the pandemic. And this show came to me as a blessing. I had never imagined that I would do a show as the main lead and a show based completely on Lucknow! Many actors like us leave their comforts and families to fulfil their dreams in the entertainment industry. And to get a show that is not only based on the city you live in but also has the local flavour in every way, right from your actors, characters, dialogues, and technicians, are the rarest thing to happen. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity, and at the same time, I can stay close to my family. I can’t thank the channel’s team and makers enough for this. “
