Esha Reveals Some Unknown Facts About Her Parents On The Kapil Sharma Show

Esha Deol shares some fun facts about her parents, Hema Malini and Dharam ji and their personal lives.

This weekend on The Kapil Sharma Show will feature the Dream Girl of Bollywood, Hema Malini, who will be gracing the show with her daughter Esha Deol for the promotion of her upcoming book ‘Amma Mia’. As an Author, Esha described the thought behind the book and shared some anecdotes about it. Later she shared some fun facts about her parents, Hema Malini and Dharam ji and their lives.

Kapil, who is known for his funny questions, asked Esha that if her friend whose voice is similar to that of the actor, whenever Esha was not around, if her friend spoke to her husband on her behalf, to which Esha said, “Yes, it’s true, But it used to happen earlier. When I was dating him as I don’t have much patience to talk on the phone for more than two minutes as its hereditary…In fact, I have a story to narrate on my parents.”

She further added, “Back in the day, when my parents used to shoot for movies, there was only one mode of communication which is telephone and while talking to Papa once during a deep discussion, suddenly, he heard my mother snoring.” She laughs. To which Hema ji explained, “During that time, I was constantly shooting throughout the night and because of which I was too tired and slept while talking to Dharamji.” She chuckled and added, “Pyaar Bhari Baatein, Ek Certain Time Tak Thik Lagti Hai and then you start to feel bored…Agar Dharam ji Yeh Sunengey to Unhe Bahot Buraa Lagegaa.”

Kapil then asked the veteran actor if Dharam ji had booked the entire hospital during her daughter’s delivery to which she said, “Yes, it’s true, during the delivery of Esha and Ahana, he had booked the whole hospital on my name so that I don’t get disturbed by fans.”

Further, Hema ji revealed that she was not allowed to enter the kitchen by her mother as her mother wanted her to focus on her dancing career. But, later in her life when Esha and Ahana were born and as kids, they started complaining as they wanted food to be cooked by their mother. So, she decided to learn cooking and the first thing she learned was ‘Bread Poha’ and the veteran actor learned most of her cooking during her vacations abroad.
