The prestigious award ceremony, Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films 2021 was held on November 24 in Mumbai’s Orchid Hotel where celebrities from the entertainment industry were honoured for their work. The grand event celebrated and recognised the work of artists towards cinema.
Actor Saanand Verma, who plays the role of Anokhelal Saxena in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai won Best Supporting Actor in comedy. His co-stars Shubhangi Atre and Rohitashv Gaur won Best Actress and Best Actor award in comedy respectively.
Actor and lyricist Qaseem Haider Qaseen was also recognised for his songs. He won the award for Best Model Actor. He had recently released a song titled ‘Sambhal Jao’.
Television actor Harshad Chopra, who currently plays the role of Abhimanyu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai also won an award at the ceremony. His co-stars Pranali and Karishma, who play Akshara and Arohi were also recognised for their acting talent.
