The stellar and ace TV superstar actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee was Divya’s closest friend who was more like her family. It was Devoleena only who officially announced the news of Divya’s death on Monday morning. She was emotionally disturbed post this and ended up writing a long eulogy on her official Instagram handle. On Monday evening, Devoleena took to her Instagram handle and shared a very much eye opener video in remembrance and loving memory of bestfriend Divya who is no more and left for heavenly abode.
We can clearly see, Devoleena’s eyes are swollen red due to crying incessantly in the start of the video where she talks with her friends and fans about her bonding and rapport with Divya and also threw light on how slowly things started changing in her life. The main important highlight of the video is Devoleena publically unveiling the bitter facts of how late actor Divya’s husband Gagan used to physically abuse her, mentally torture her, and do domestic violence on her too. Further another pivotal point is Devoleena telling how Gagan Gabru robbed all the money and jewellery of Divya and was also in jail for 6 months because he was arrested in a case of molestation on a girl back in Delhi.
Divya’s mother in one of her earlier interviews had opened up about her late daughter’s husband Gagan being a fraud and also added this bit, “He has left her and is not bothered to even come forward for a while. She married without informing us. I am aghast that post-marriage she has been living in a very small place in Oshiwara. She was living in a big house at Mira Road earlier. She has undergone a lot in the recent past”.
Earlier, in one of the interviews, even Divya had talked about her mother being against her marriage with Gagan. She had told, “My mother was against our marriage, as we belong to different castes. We tried our best to convince her, but in vain. Both my mom and I have been through tough times after my father passed away in 2017. I even moved to Delhi, as I was shattered after his death and not in a state to work. I returned to Mumbai eventually, because I wanted to get my life back on track. Despite all these odds, Gagan and I were sure about being together. Finally, we decided to tie the knot”.
