When asked that if he had to describe his television journey in four to five sentences then how has it been going for him till now, on this Ashish said, “Its been almost 16 years since I started my career in this industry, journey has been amazing and very enriching from every aspect be it professionally or personally. God has been kind”.

When quizzed about the two favorite shows being close to his heart, on this Ashish asserted, “Two shows which are close to my heart are Pyaar Ka Dard hai and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke”.

When questioned that after being a part of this industry from so many years what things really worked well in your favour, on this Ashish told, “The things that really worked well in my favour are honesty and sincerity towards my craft”.

Further, delving into his favorite shows, we also asked him that what is your reaction on your most loved and cult timeless hit romantic supernatural genre horror show Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani completing 10 years which still gets so much of love from fans on social media, on this Ashish stated, “It was my second show with Vivian Dsena earlier I did Kasamh Se. So we both shared great chemistry together even on the sets. It was the first show of tv which was based on Vampires. And the audience liked the whole concept”.

Further when asked that any special moment or cherishable memory that he recalls from the shoot days of Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani, on this Ashish shared, “This question took me back to those times when most of the scenes were actually shot during the night. So for 7-8 months, it was a night shoot which used to actually drain us mentally and physically both”.

When asked that being an Indian TV serial director, which shows do you think are relevant and relatable to reality, on this Ashish says, “According to me right now Anupamaa is doing well, people are connecting with the show”.

Further, Ashish also sharing about his experience of working with Rajshri Productions during Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara said, “It’s always a pleasure to work with Rajshri productions. For me, it’s like my second home and the entire team of Rajshri is just amazing to work with. I just hope that I get to work with them again sometime in the future as well”.

We also asked him that how in the television serial Krishna Dasi he got the concept of Krishna dasi system for the first time ever on tinsel town which was received very well by fans and audiences and the entire story behind it, so shedding more light on the entire revolutionary concept and show, Ashish says, “Actually it was a south show, and producer of the show was Optimystix and original content belongs Kutty Padmini. In the south, it was a super hit show. And she wanted to make this same show for our audience as well. And channel suggested my name to Optimystix and that’s how I got this amazing opportunity to work with this team. Again storyline of this show was very different from what I have done earlier. And it was very challenging to work on this show”.

We also asked him about how his show Dil Se Dil Tak got loads of accolades and love from fans and audiences in India where everyone just fell in love with Parth, Teni and Shorvori’s chemistry so much that even the social media fan pages still love this show, what is his reaction on this, on this Ashish concluded the interview by telling, “It feels good when the audience shows their love towards their favourite shows. I’m thankful for this beautiful audience because of their love and support our shows did well on screen and still remembered”.
