Producer Ekta Kapoor is set to host a segment of this week’s Bigg Boss 18 titled Shukravaar Ka Vaar, as Salman Khan is occupied with the filming of Sikandar in Hyderabad.
Promotional materials suggest that the forthcoming episodes of Bigg Boss 18 will be quite dramatic.
The television mogul and film producer will take on the hosting role while promoting her upcoming film, The Sabarmati Report.
In a recent promotional clip for the upcoming episode, Ekta Kapoor is seen addressing contestants Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chahat Pandey, criticizing them for their recent conduct within the house.
Ekta begins by speaking to Vivian, whom she previously launched in the television industry, reminding him of this fact. She labels him as arrogant due to his interactions with fellow contestants.
“If you have worked for ten years, does that mean everyone in the house should elevate you?” Vivian attempts to defend himself, to which Ekta responds, “Then who are you showcasing this pride of work to? Why has Vivian returned to Bigg Boss after eight years?” Subsequently, Ekta admonishes Rajat Dalal for his physical altercation with Avinash Mishra, branding him a bully. “He (Avinash) is younger; standing in front of him does not make you a formidable figure.” She then addresses Avinash Mishra, indicating that she would have disciplined him: “If you had mentioned my father’s name today, I would have taken the opportunity to educate you within the house.”
In the previous episode, Sara Arfeen Khan had accused the Bigg Boss producers of favoritism towards Vivian. Frustrated, she lashed out at Eisha Singh, throwing objects, and confronted Avinash when he approached her. Sara’s emotional outburst persisted as she claimed the show was biased, stating, “Liars, deceitful people, built on lies.”
We must observe the contestants’ behavior and their willingness to improve as director Rohit Shetty assumes hosting duties in the absence of Salman Khan this weekend.
