Punjabi Playback singer Afsana Khan has quit Bigg Boss 15 a few days before its premiere. Afsana had come to Mumbai from Punjab to take part in the popular reality show next month. Before the show, all the contestants were put into mandatory quarantine.
It is reported that while quarantining in a hotel room, Afsana suffered panic attacks and had to receive medical attention. Afsana confirmed the news of her quitting the show via her Instagram story. She posted a picture showcasing a little glimpse of doctor’s prescription and medicines and wrote, ‘Sorry my fans plz”, along with folded hands and crying emoji.
Reports suggest that she has already returned to Punjab.
Earlier this week, Afsana was introduced as a contestant in a new promo for Bigg Boss 15, along with Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundrra and Simba Nagpal. Afsana has opted out of the show a few days before the show’s premiere on October 2.
Afsana Khan is known for her blockbuster tracks “Titliaan” written by Jaani and “Dhakka” with Sidhu Moosewala. She started her career as a singer in 2012 as a participant in the singing reality show, Voice of Punjab Season 3.
