The actress who had been born in Afghanistan and then moved along with getting shifted to India is feeling really tensed since BB14 fame Arshi sceptical of her engagement with Afghan cricketer.

All set and almost about to get engaged to an Afghan cricketer, she is feeling tensed and worried fearing the fact that now after the entire ongoing Afghanistan Taliban situation, might be her parents may have to burn their bridges due to the strained current scenario in Afghanistan and ever since the country has gotten taken over by Taliban, all the men women and their children are going through a lot of unbearable pain because of this invasion.

Talking about this current situation and her engagement news in her recent interview with a leading indian wire agency, Bigg Boss 14 challenger and actress Arshi Khan said, “I was to get engaged in October with an Afghanistan cricketer. He had been chosen by my father. But after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, we may have to put an end to the relationship”.

Actually Arshi’s would be fiance and potential life partner had been chosen by her father which was eventually also supposed to be followed by both of them exchanging their rings and being engaged to each other but now thanks to the ongoing tragic scenario in Afghanistan, she feels her family might call off their engagement and also thinks that maybe her parents will look for someone in India with whom she would settle down with.

She also shared, “He was my father’s friend’s son. We are also on talking terms and are like friends, but now I’m sure my parents will find me an Indian partner”.

Speaking about her origin, she shared about her family history and said, “I’m an Afghani Pathan, and my family belongs to the Yusufzai ethnic group. My grandfather had migrated from Afghanistan and was a jailer in Bhopal. My roots are in Afghanistan, but I am very much an Indian citizen, like my parents and grandparents”.
