Asit Kumar Slammed Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal Over Her Sexual Harassment Allegations

The Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma production team reacting to Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal's allegation calls it a ‘baseless allegation’.

Asit Kumar’s long-running show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah seems to be showing more than the script; there is interest in the ongoing quarrels between the cast and makers and the allegations being levelled against each other. The show’s actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who plays the role of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodh, has made shocking allegations and also filed a complaint against Asit, Project Head Sohail Ramani, and executive producer Jatin Bajaj alleging sexual harassment, which is making a lot of noise on the internet.

Now, after some time, the production team has reacted to it and called it a ‘baseless allegation’. In their statement, the direction team, which included Harshad Joshi, and Rushi Davem Armaan, expressed how Jennifer lacked basic discipline and never paid attention to her work.

They stated that they had complained about her behavior to the production head many times. The team also revealed that on her last day, she was abusive in front of the whole unit and left the set without completing her shoot.

Ramani and Bajaj also spoke about their experiences dealing with her. They explained that Jennifer would regularly misbehave on set with the entire team. While moving out of the shoot, she rashly drove her car out at very high speed, even though she didn’t think about others who were in her way. She even damaged some of the set’s property.

Before Jennifer, many actors, including Shailesh Lodha, Disha Vakani, and Gurucharan Singh, had also left the show for different reasons.
