Ashi Singh was seen in the recently ended Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai. She played the character Naina in the series. Ashi received a lot of love from the audience for her portrayal of Naina. Naina was the love interest turned wife of Sameer(Randeep Rai). Both the young actors looked cute together. The series revolved around the love story of Sameer and Naina in the 90’s era when communication was very difficult. Everything including handwritten letters, sharing flowers, cute cards were all a part of this lovely story.
Ashi Singh character Naina Agarwal was highly relatable to every girl around us. Naina was a simple conservative girl who totally focused on her studies and a family girl. Ashi’s portrayal made her look like a thoughtful girl who is able to understand every angle of life and try solving most of her problems by her self. Ashi showed resemblance to being an ideal family girl.
The series showed each and every aspect of a 90’s life of a girl. The criticism she faces about higher studies, society pressure, the girl only being fit for household work. YUDKBH also dealt with sensitive topics like nepotism and low class thought processes about a girl’s menstrual cycle and much more.
Ashi’s character managed to fight all this strongly. She definitely turned out to be every man’s dream girl.
