Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming weekend episode of Indian Idol 12 will be all things bright & shiny. Ruling the hearts with her vivacious voice, the melody queen Asha Bhosle will be gracing the sets of the show. In honor of this great legend, Indian Idol 12 will be celebrating the glory of this icon by hosting an ‘Asha Bhosle Special’ episode. While all the contestants will be seen celebrating Asha Ji by singing her classic songs, contestant Arunita Kanjilal will be seen performing on the songs of Asha Ji – ‘Roj Roj Aankhon Tale’, ‘Yeh Ladka Hai Allah’ and ‘Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja’ and offering her ‘Suji Ka Sheera’.
Striking perfect chords with her beautiful voice, she will be seen leaving Asha Ji impressed who will be also praising Arunita Kanjilal. Following this, in honor of her presence, Arunita will be bringing ‘Suji Ka Sheera’ for the icon to relish. Later, Asha Ji is seen complimenting her as she says, “You’ve made it very nicely.”
After this sweet moment, Arunita Kanjilal expresses her feelings and shares, “Asha Ji has been my idol since forever. I have been listening to her songs since my childhood. She is such a huge icon and getting a chance to perform in front of a legend like her is such a tremendous opportunity.”
