The actor stated that while they can’t go outside to celebrate or invite many friends at their home for Diwali, he and his family will enjoy the most in this festival. During his recent interview, when asked about his plans, he said, “This year we will have a cosy family Diwali celebration. We have a pet dog so we don’t get crackers at home. We will do a Laxmi puja at home and then we will light diyas and also make a colourful rangoli”.

He also prayed and urged to his fans for not moving around much in this Diwali and quipped, “Everyone should have a low-key Diwali with family only this year. We need to realise that just because everything is open now does not mean that we are out of Covid-19. In fact, the opposite is true. Because people are moving out so much, the chance of getting infected with Covid-19 is really high. We need to make sure that we keep our families safe. It’s important to maintain social distancing as that is the only way we can ensure that we will not be infected. Please try not to rush to sweet shops or other areas where we know there will be a lot of crowd”.

Taking precautions for this festive season as well on a parting note in the interview he told, “I understand that people are fed up now but it is important to make sure to protect ourselves. I also make sure to wear my mask whenever I am out. I make sure to keep a sanitiser with me and spray every surface well before I touch it. These small things can go a long way, I feel”.
