Indian TV’s most loved and immensely popular serial TV czarina Ekta Kapoor’s Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV, 2009 – 2014) is coming up with a digital sequel and the for the fans of Bollywood star Ankita Lokhande who made her debut in films with hit film Manikarnika (2019), this is indeed a good news that Ankita marks her OTT debut with Pavitra Rishta’s digital sequel.

Also, recently a news media report had suggested that this serial is all set to have its own digital sequel just like the hugely popular shows like Jamai Raja and Qubool Hai but the show is going to have fresh faces in the star cast of the digital series as well.

The leading digital entertainment portal confirms the news that Ankita Lokhande is indeed going to play the main leading role of Archana and a source close to the show and also involved in its development confirming this news was quoted saying, “The actress will continue playing Archana Deshmukh in the show. However Manav Deshmukh’s character which was originally played by Sushant will be portrayed by a new face. The show is already being written and the hunt for new Manav is also on”.

Ankita started her career with Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj and then did her TV debut with Ekta Kapoor’s Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV wherein she played main lead for longest time and then finally did her bollywood debut with Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi (2019) and later also acted in Baaghi 3.

With this digital sequel of Pavitra Rishta, Ankita is all set and ready to mark her debut in the OTT space.

In Qubool Hai 2.0, Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover made a comeback together after 8 long years whereas Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma reunited for Jamai Raja 2.0 after a couple of years.
