Popular Television actress Ankita Lokhande got engaged to her boyfriend Vicky Jain in Mumbai. The couple exchanged rings on the night of Dec 12 in a ceremony that looked no less than a dream. For the function, Ankita wore a shimmery black dress with matching earrings and kept her hair loose. Vicky Jain opted for a beige printed jacket over a black turtleneck T-shirt and matching pants.
As the couple exchanged rings, the title track from late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Raabta played in the background. For the fans, it’s heartwarming to see SSR’s song being played during one of the most important moments of her life.
After Vicky slipped the ring into her finger, she hooted in excitement, then hugged him and planted a kiss on his cheek.
Ankita also performed to Ellie Goulding’s popular song Love Me Like You Do. She wore a long gown as she stood on a raised podium for her performance. The colours of her dress kept on changing as the song continued. They sealed the night with endless dancing and cutting a four-tier cake.
Vicky said during the ceremony, “I’m a very expressive guy. I show my love towards her in front of the whole world always, today, tomorrow and forever.”
Ankita said, “I’ve told him each and everything about me. But I just want to say and tell everyone that I’m very very lucky to have Vicky in my life. I think because of Vicky my life is very easy. The way he is, I’m really grateful to God that he is my partner forever.”
Ankita was in a serious relationship with her Pavitra Rishta co-star Sushant Singh Rajput from the year 2009 to 2016. After they parted ways, Ankita went into depression. Life turned around for her when businessman Vicky Jain came into her life and made her believe in love once again. But the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020 shook Ankita. And once again, Vicky supported her and never left her side. The couple will tie the knot on Dec 14 at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.
