As the saying goes, The bravest thing you will ever do is to love again!, is certainly true for Ankita Lokhande. The popular TV star recently was seen celebrating her bachelorette party here on Tuesday that her close friends had arranged for her. The “Pavitra Rishta” fame actress is all set to tie the knot with Businessman Vicky Jain, the two had been dating for quite some time. Ankita looked stunning wearing a beautiful purple outfit for the bachelorette while she was joined by many of her actor friends. Mrunal Thakur, who started her career in showbiz with TV shows and switched to movies later, attended her friend’s party in an orange dress. TV actresses Rashami Desai and Srishty Rode were looking pretty in black outfits. Actress Amruta Khanvilkar was also spotted arriving at the party. Mahhi Vij and Aparna Dixit were among others who had a lot of fun with Ankita Lokhande on Tuesday night. Overwhelmed by her friends’ arrangement for the party, Ankita took to her Instagram handle to thank her friends “Girls just wanna have fun right girls? Thank you for giving me the memories for life Special thanks to my favorite girls appu and teju..Thank you so much for this awesome night” she quoted.
Earlier this year, the actress had written a heartfelt letter for boyfriend Vicky Jain, thanking him for being a part of her life. Sharing a photo of herself and Vicky the actress and quoted,
“Dear Vikki, You were there for me when times were tough. You were always the first person to ask me how I was doing, if I needed help in anything, or if I wanted to get away so that I could clear my head. You were always so worried about me, and I always told you that I was fine because I knew that I had you with me. I want to thank you for being the best boyfriend in the world. I don’t need to tell you what I need, but you always know what it is somehow.”
I used to think that I will never find happiness or love again because of all the heartbreaks and disappointments that I experienced in the past” she added.
The actress, although has been dating Vicky for almost 3 years now, she was known to be in a relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the popular duo had started their career together with hut TV show “Pavitra Rishta”. The two had fallen in love on the sets of their tv show but soon after Sushant’s big Bollywood debut, the couple called off their relationship in 2016. Ankita said that she chose to remain silent on her break up because she did not want to make a ‘tamasha’ of her relationship. She revealed how she felt completely lost after her breakup. Ankita further revealed how the late actor had chosen his ‘career’ over their relationship, which left Ankita in a state of heartbreak. “People come and tell me ‘You left Sushant…’. How do you know that? Nobody knows about my thing, you know. I am not blaming anyone here. Sushant… made his choice very clear. He wanted to go on with his career. He chose his career and moved on. But for two-and-a-half years, I was dealing with so many things,” she mentioned.
What started as a friendship, Vicky and Ankita eventually fell in love and would be seen tying the knot in a 3-day event on December 12 “As of now, only very close people have been informed about the wedding. Following a few rituals and puja ceremonies, the invitation cards will be sent out. Given both of them are from the city, the wedding celebration will happen in Mumbai itself,” added a source close to Ankita.
