Fans are totally pumped and excited for the digital sequel which would be streaming on the renowned OTT platform Zee 5 soon. Post treating fans with her first look as Archana which had gone viral on social media and taken internet by storm, now finally Ankita Lokhande has dropped the first video teaser of the highly anticipated digital sequel and show Pavitra Rishta 2 on her social media handles and soon enough after this, the stunning television actress received loads of shoutouts and best wishes from friends in the industry.
Taking to her official social media handle on social networking app instagram, Ankita dropped a video teaser and in her caption wrote, “Some stories make you believe in love. Witness one such love story on #ZEE5. #PavitraRishta #ItsNeverTooLate”.
She also tagged her co-star Shaheer Sheikh, actors Pooja Bhamrrah and Piyush Ranade and producer Ekta Kapoor among others.
Rashami Desai sent her wishes by commenting, ‘All the best sweetheart’. Whilst Aparna Dixit dropped heart emojis followed by the bollywood actress Sanjana Sanghi who wrote, ‘Congratulations’, along with heart emoticons.
Furthermore, even the suave and stellar TV actor Shaheer Sheikh also shared the teaser on his instagram stories.
Ankita Lokhande will be seen reprising her iconic role as Archana in the show. Whereas Shaheer has been roped in to play Manav, a character that was played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput with finesse and nuance in the original show, and later by Hiten Tejwani.
In his latest interview with a leading digital entertainment portal, opening up on his apprehensions to take up the show and much more, Shaheer Sheikh shared, “A lot of people told me that are you sure you want to do this character? Because it was a legendary character of such a hit show played by Sushant Singh Rajput. People will have very high expectations from you. I was anyway not very sure if I should take up the show and after hearing all such things, I started feeling even more nervous. In fact, the first thought I had was, Mujhe accept hi nahi karenge log”.
