Anil speaking in details about it also mentioned that how Kapil repeatedly rejected roles in Mubarakaan and 24 alongside him, and also said, “Offered You So Many Films, You Turn Them Down, Why?”.
Kapil has a huge fandom on all social media platforms and also his fans and audiences love him for his amazing comedy along with strong punchlines and bang on comic timing and apart from being an amazing comedian star, he has also appeared and came in many shows and films. But till now, no one knew that Kapil rejected a lot of film and series offers from the exemplary and legendary Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor wherein the AK Vs AK (Netflix, 2020) fame Bollywood superstar who was recently seen in Kapil’s show, ended up opening about how Kapil rejected roles alongside him in Mubarakan and 24 also asking Kapil to give his valid reasonings for same.
Anil said, “I have offered you so many films, you turn them down. Why?”. To which , in defence of himself, Kapil answering Anil told, “I was approached for 24 series (TV show featuring Anil), I was so happy, but we were starting our new show at that time”. To this Anil gave a sarcastic reply and said, “Then you did the right thing by not accepting the show”.
Then, furthermore, Anil also reminded that how Kapil also straightaway ended up rejecting Mubarakaan and Priyadarshan’s Tezz.
In his response to it, Kapil joining both his hands in front of him replied, “Sir, please continue offering me good projects”. Post this answer of Kapil, Anil tried teasing him and said, “You know I do supporting roles, character roles, father roles these days. If there is a role of your father or brother, tell me”.
