Popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati has returned to our Television screens with a brand new season. Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who has been hosting the show since its inception is hosting KBC 14 as well. Amitabh Bachchan’s Salary Per Episode For KBC:
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 1 aired in the year 2000. As per a report in siasat.com, Big B charged Rs 25 lakhs per episode. As the show became a huge hit, Big B’s salary kept increasing with each season. During the 5th, 6th and 7th season, it is said that Big B was earning Rs 1.5-2 crore per episode. By season 10 of KBC, his fees hiked to Rs 3 crore.
For the 11th, 12th and 13th seasons, Amitabh Bachchan reportedly charged Rs 3.5 crore per episode. Now when he is back with KBC 14, his salary per episode is estimated to be somewhere between Rs 4 crore to Rs 5 crore.
KBC 14 Prize Money:
KBC 14 has already hooked the fans with interesting questions and guest appearances in special episodes. The top prize of the show is Rs 7 crore, but this time it has been increased to Rs 7.5 crore to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence.
