Amit Tandon Reacts After Getting Trolled By Sidharth Shukla’s Fans

Check out what Amit Tandon said after getting trolled by the late actor Sidharth Shukla's fans.

On Saturday, actor and singer Amit Tandon announced that he would be dropping the cover of song ‘Dil Ko Karaar’ that starred late actor Sidharth Shukla. He even hashtagged Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla in his announcement post.

This didn’t go well with Sidharth’s fans who slammed him for ‘encashing on Sid’s demise’. Twitter users called out Amit Tandon and Shehnaaz Gill for paying tribute to the late actor via songs, promoting and monetizing them.

A user wrote, “Here we are still mourning this unfortunate event n people who claim to be his close friends are selling emotions on the name of a Tribute. Asking us to make REELS on someone’s death, counting views n likes! How low will they stoop? Stop the mockery! STOP USING SIDHARTH SHUKLA.”

Twitter is flooded with such tweets, calling out these artists.

After receiving heavy flak, Amit Tandon took to his Instagram story and gave an explanation. He wrote, “Just to make this clear to the trollers out there, this isn’t a tribute and I tagged Sid and Shehnaaz fans fully knowing she wasn’t a part of the song thinking it may bring a smile on their faces. This was recorded before Sid’s untimely demise and is a song that I like that was sung amazingly by Yasser Desai. Bas baaki jinko hateful hona hai ho, mujhe ghanta farak nhi padta hai.”

Later, while dropping the cover, he said it loud and clear that it is “NOT A TRIBUTE!” He further wrote, “Those spreading hate to me you are not true fans of anyone and those who have turned on @shehnaazgill for doing a tribute her way as she wants is none of your business. For all other enjoy.”
