However, it is not the first time when a television celebrity left their show mid-way leaving the fans in shock. Hina who joined the television drama in 2009 decided to quit the show after almost 8 years since she found her role a little too monotonous. Soon after her exit, the actress joined the reality television show Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi.
2. Shilpa Shinde Aka Angoori Bhabhi
Unlike Hina Khan, popular television star Shilpa Shinde left her famous television show “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai” due to her conflicts with the makers. However, amidst the controversy, the makers later replaced the actress with Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. After the show, Shilpa appeared in the reality show Bigg Boss 11 where she was seen confronting the issues about her exit from her previous show.
3. Disha Vakani Aka Dayaben

Actor Dheeraj Dhoopar who is popularly known for his role as “Karan Luthra” in the show, “Kundali Bhagya” decided to quit the show last year leaving his fans upset. Dheeraj revealed in one of his interviews that he had to leave the show since he had new responsibilities in his life.
5. Shailesh Lodha Aka Taarak Mehta
Just like Shilpa Shinde, actor Shailesh Lodha who appeared in the popular television sitcom, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” left the show last year after reportedly having a conflict with show producer Asit Kumar Modi. However, the actor was later replaced with Sachin Shroff by the makers.
6. Paras Kalnawat Aka Samar
Paras Kalnawat who rose to fame with his character Samar in the popular television drama Anupama, left the show last year since the actor thought that he wasn’t going anywhere in his career with his character and his growth was hindered. He later appeared in a dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
7. Mohsin Khan & Shivangi Joshi
After working for 5 years in the show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”, both Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi decided to quit the show in the year 2021. While it is believed that due to the sudden generation leap in the show, the actors decided to quit since they weren’t exactly comfortable playing an older character in the drama.

Just like Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi actors Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar who appeared alongside in the show, “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2” had to leave the show under similar circumstances since both the actors weren’t comfortable playing an older character after the show featured a generation leap.

Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia who essayed the role of Pragya and Abhishek Mehra in the popular television drama, “Kumkum Bhagya” left the show in the year 2022. After being a part of the show for almost 8 years the actors decided to take up different projects. Sriti later appeared in Khatron Ke Khiladi after leaving her tv drama.
