Kacha Badam fame Anjali Arora has been in the news lately for a leaked MMS. The young internet sensation, however, claimed that it is not her in the video and called it a morphed video. After safely dealing with the MMS controversy, Anjali is being criticized for her pap video on 75th Independence Day. Like other celebrities, Anjali too held the Indian flag high and posed for some pictures.
She was seen in a midriff revealing crop top and jeans as she posed with the tricolour. As her pictures and videos went viral on social media, some people expressed their displeasure. A user wrote, “This is disrespect of Indian flag.”
Another said, “Aise logo ko flag deh k kya mtlb kapde toh atleast dhang k pehn lete india wale.”
Unhappy with Anjali’s choice of clothes while holding Tiranga, a user commented, “Still confused ye tiranga k liye aayi thi ya khud k liye.”
“Tirange ko nhi khudko dikha rhi,” reads a similar comment.
A few days ago, when Anjali Arora’s MMS went viral, she came out to clarify that it is not her in the video. In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, she said, “Mujhe nahi pata kya kar rahe hai log, mera naam lagakar, meri photo lagakar ki ye Anjali Arora ka MMS hai. Inki bhi family hai, meri bhi family hai. Meri family bhi saare videos dekhti hai. Sometimes, I feel ye kyu kar rahe hai. Jisme main hu hi nahi, kyun faila raha hai. (I have no idea what people are doing by using my name and photo and saying that this is Anjali Arora’s MMS. They have a family while I have my own. My family members also watch videos. Sometimes, I feel why they are sharing a video when I am not even a part of it.)”
The ex-Lock Upp contestant, Anjali, added, “Kuch log hain joh isko alag way mein leke jaa rahe hain, theek hai badnaam karna chahte ho aap, par iss tarike se?Aise cheeze karne se phele ye nahi sochte kisi ki family ka sochegi, kisi ke family pe kya asar padega? (There are some people, who are giving it a different spin. It’s okay you want to tarnish my image but this is how you do it? Don’t they think what someone’s family will think and how it affect them?)”
