Actress Tanvi Thakkar, known for her roles in Bahu Humari Rajni Kant and TV Biwi Aur Main got married to her longtime beau and actor Aditya Kapadia known for shows like Just Mohobbat, Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum, Bade Achche Lagte Hai and Shaka Laka Boom Boom yesterday on 16th February and the couple celebrated their haldi and mehndi ceremony at the SoBo hotel in Mumbai on Monday.
Wearing a yellow crop top with palazzo, the bride-to-be was a sight to behold, her groom, too, looked handsome in a yellow and off-white kurta-pajama.
Happy and glowing bride to be Tanvi said, “I am so happy that I am finally getting married to the love of my life. I chose a yellow outfit for mehendi and haldi because yellow is the colour of the spring season. I had a great time with my friends and we all sang and danced to Bollywood songs”.
The actress looked very happy in pictures with her industry friends including Vahbiz Dorabjee, Ekta Sharma, Shraddha Jaiswal, Sunaiyna Faujdar and Ishita Dutta, to name a few.
Aditya who is in love with Tanvi as much as Tanvi is, said, “She’s such a go-getter and I love her attitude towards life. Her love is so pure. She won’t back down at anything. When she loves you, she loves everyone and everything that is attached to you and that’s a very rare quality. We’re both opposites but we both see the value in being the opposite of ourselves. So the most unique part of our relationship is us”.
Also in an earlier interview, speaking about their love story Aditya said, “We met on the sets of Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyar Hum and the funniest thing is that we were playing twins in the show! The love story started with being friends. We both got quite fond of each other very quickly cause although we’re both very different people, but the outlook on life is pretty similar. We both wanted pretty similar things from life. And that clicked”.
