Business reality show Shark Tank India season 2 is near its end. Viewers are expecting exciting and never-seen-before pitches this week. However, the latest pitch has upset the viewers so much that they are now calling the show ‘scripted’. In the finale week, actor Parul Gulati makes an appearance and pitches her hair extension brand.
Parul Gulati has appeared in several Punjabi films, Hindi serials and web series. She is also the owner of a Human Hair Extensions brand by the name of Nishhair. Sony Liv dropped the teaser of her pitch yesterday and it attracted negative comments immediately. After giving a demo of her product, she asked for Rs 1 crore in return for 2% equity. Anupam Mittal was impressed to know that she has a net profit of 30%. Vineeta offers Rs 1 cr for 3% equity while Amit Jain accepts Parul’s ask without any bargain.
People are upset with Parul Gulati’s appearance on the show as they feel it was merely for glam and TRP reasons instead of promoting the small and needy entrepreneurs. Check out a few comments on the promo:
