Best known for his impactful performances in films like ace filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Delhi 6, actor Amitriyaan is playing a pivotal role in the upcoming web series Tandoor which also stars Rashami Desai, Tanuj Virwani. Speaking about the director of Tandoor Amitriyaan says, “Nivedita Basu is an excellent director and best thing about her is that she knows exactly what she wants from a particular scene and then gives complete freedom to her actor on how to deliver it. She doesn’t restrict her actors to perform within limited set boundaries. And I love such creative freedom given by the director on the set especially when the director is calm and observant like Nivedita.”
Speaking about the all-women squad of producers Amitriyaan says, “We were lucky to have free-spirited producers like Chitra Vakil Sharma and Chandni Soni. They are such positive energy and they have managed to create a great atmosphere while shooting which made everyone comfortable. And that is applicable to all from actors to technicians to spot boys. I remember we actually never had long hectic shooting days because we have shot this during pandemics and our producers have taken the best care for us. They are very professional but at the same time something is very homely and genuine about them which is kinda very rare in our industry.”
