The upcoming weekend episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol Season 12 is going to be a melodious one. Themed ‘Sing Along’ with guest judges Udit Narayan and Abhijeet Bhattacharya, viewers are in for a musical ride where the duo will be seen performing some of their famous songs and also engage in some fun activities with the contestants.
Highlighting one such moment, contestant Arunita Kanjilal gave a wonderful performance on the song Tu Mere Samne, Main Tere Samne. The performance was lauded by everyone present on set especially Abhijeet Bhattacharya who presented a sweet surprise to Arunita.
Encouraging Arunita, Abhijeet Bhattacharya said, “I am overwhelmed by your fantastic voice and you really present a different kind of energy while singing. Indian Idol is one of my favourite shows and I am glad to see such talent bloom. As a token of appreciation, let me present you with some sweet rasgullas that have specially come from your hometown Bengal.”
Surprised by this sweet gesture, Arunita Kanjilal shares, “Abhijeet Da’s gesture was really very sweet and I thoroughly enjoyed consuming Rasgullas that came all the way from Bengal. It reminded me of my people back home and I was truly happy with this wonderful surprise.”
