Tell us something about your upcoming song ‘Zara Thehro’.

I am very excited for this song. We enjoyed a lot while shooting for it. The song would have released one or two months ago but it got delayed due to Covid.

What kind of song is ‘Zara Thehro’?

It is a beautiful love song.

How was your experience working with Rohan Mehra?

It was a very nice experience. He is a very humble person. Even the entire team was so good. I had not expected that everyone would be so good. But they all supported me and we enjoyed a lot.

You started your career as a model. Do you have plans to venture into acting?

I actually started my career with singing. I got a chance in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’ll Champs. Then I did a few shows on Channel V. Then I did some short films and music videos.

Would you continue your career as a singer, model or actor?

Actually, currently I am getting more offers for modelling and acting instead of singing. Three months later, you’ll see me in a Punjabi song as well. Though, we haven’t shot for it yet.

How old were you when you participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’ll Champs?

I was 14. I was actually selected through wild card entry.

How was your experience on the show? Did you feel pressurized as a kid or was it a joy ride for you?

No, I didn’t feel pressured at all. I loved singing since childhood. So, I first learned singing, then I sent my audition CD and got selected through wild card entry. Everyone was so good there.
