The 67th National Film Awards were announced yesterday in Delhi wherein late film star Sushant's film Chhichhore won best film, Kangana won best actress for Manikarnika and Panga.

In this year’s 67th National Film Awards 2021 which was supposed to be held in last year but due to the pandemic got pushed ahead to this year, late Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput’s Chhichhore best film, Kangana best actress for Manikarnika, Panga.

This year’s national film awards saw talented actors finally getting their due with late B town starlet Sushant Singh Rajput’s Chhichhore best film, Kangana best actress for Manikarnika, Panga.

Late B town star Sushant’s film Chhichhore bagged best hindi film award at the 67th National film awards and also Bollywood’s ace and stellar performer Kangana Ranaut was conferred the best actress award for both her films Manikarnika and Panga.

The most coveted and renowned 67th National Film Awards which were going to be held in May 2020 last year got delayed and pushed ahead due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and now finally are being announced in New Delhi on Monday and this ceremony is going to confer and bestow the indian film industry and film artists for the year 2019 which are going to be presented by the President of India and according to the latest updates now, late B town star Sushant’s film Chhichhore bagged best hindi film award at the 67th National film awards and also Bollywood’s ace and stellar performer Kangana Ranaut was conferred the best actress award for both her films Manikarnika and Panga which makes this her fourth national film award.

Kangana has bagged her fourth national film award for best actress especially for her 2019 films Manikarnika and Panga and also Kangana had donned the director’s hat for Manikarnika. Meanwhile, Kangana had also been conferred with best actress award for her films Queen and Tanu Weds Manu and also had won the national award for best actress in supporting role for Fashion (2008).

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Chhichhore also starred Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma. The National Award winning film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari which mainly did focus on the portrayal of hostel life in Indian colleges.

Bollywood’s nuanced actor Manoj Bajpayee and South star Dhanush won the 67th National Film Award for Best Actor in the lead role for their stellar performances in the films Bhosle and Asuran. South superstar Vijay Sethupathi bagged a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the 2019 film Super Deluxe, where the actor played the role of a transwoman Shilpa.
