A couple of days back, actress Kangana Ranaut who is known for making bold and candid statements made some degrading remarks on Taapsee Pannu. In an explosive interview, Kangana spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise and then launched direct attacks on several actors including Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu by calling them ‘outsiders’. Apart from that Kangana’s bold opinion on the on-going nepotism debate also didn’t go well with the masses.

However, Taapsee Pannu strongly reacted to Kangana’s edgy remarks and she feels that only does the Queen actress but everyone around is busy sorting their own personal feuds.

In a recent interaction with News 18, Taapsee Pannu expressed her opinions on the on-going nepotism debate. The Thappad actress asserted that the debate on nepotism is getting coloured.

When asked if she feels that Kangana Ranaut is settling some personal score in this debate, Taapsee placed emphasis on the fact that only just Kangana but everyone else around is getting in their personal vendetta in the nepotism debate.

Sharing her views on the nepotism debate, Taapsee said that if people want to resolve the nepotism debate then they need to understand that the film industry is just one part of nepotism and so is the media and the audience.

Taapsee quoted, “Why don’t they watch our films, first day first show? Why didn’t they make Sonchiriya a big hit? Why don’t they go for outsiders’ films the way they go for the star kids’ films? All of us are a part of this game. It’s not just one group of people. Look at the kind of coverage Taimur gets today. I don’t get that much of coverage despite trying to work really hard, that’s unfair.” She then added that we have to stop playing the name games and harassing people.

Taapsee then mentioned that she herself lost a few projects to star kids and was even replaced unprofessionally in the films. Speaking of the same the Pink actress said there are two ways, either you depend on the biggies in the industry to support you consistently and reach the position you eventually want to, or else you make on for yourself despite anyone supporting you or not. Hence, she decided to depend on herself.

Taapsee said, “I made sure I got the kind of films I wanted to do and the path of my own. It might take longer but I will have my own journey. I have no regrets.”

On the work front, Taapsee Pannu was last seen in Thappad. The film was hailed by the audience and everyone praised Taapsee for choosing such a film.

Up next, Taapsee will be seen in Haseena Dillruba. Helmed by Vinil Mathew, the film also features Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane.
