A friend of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has claimed that Sushant’s family is forcing him to make false statements against Rhea Chakraborty. A few days ago, Sushant’s father filed an FIR with Bihar Police accusing Sushant’s girlfriend of cheating, blackmailing and forcing Sushant to suicide. A team of Bihar Police has reached Mumbai to investigate the case. Several people including Sushant’s trainer and cook have alleged that Rhea controlling Sushant’s life.
And now, a friend of Sushant has written an email to the police that he is being pressurized to implicate Rhea in the case. He wrote an email to Mumbai Police on 28th July revealing that he received at least three phone calls from Sushant’s family and they asked him to give a statement against Rhea. According to a news report, “He alleged that family members of Sushant, including his sister Meetu Singh and relative OP Singh, called him July 22 on a conference call where another unknown number had also joined and again on July 27, a similar call was received by him asking him to give statement against Rhea.”

He also told that he is being asked to give a statement about things which he is unaware of!
The email also reads, “I was told I would receive a phone call. I got a call from an unknown WhatsApp number, but it ended within 40 seconds, and no statement was recorded,” he said in the email. “I am pressurised to comply and record statements against Rhea, the things which I am not aware of!”
This email has been used in the petition filed by Rhea with the Supreme Court. Rhea has asked the case to be shifted from Bihar to Mumbai. In her petition, she admitted that she was in a live-in relationship with Sushant for last one year and had temporarily moved out to her residence on June 8, 2020. She claimed that he was suffering from depression and was on medication for some time now.
