SRK Death Threat: The Mumbai Police has arrested a man for issuing a death-threat to bollywood actor, Shahrukh Khan. The 59 year old star who received a call from a strange man last week is named as Mohammad Faizan Khan. Faizan Khan is a lawyer by profession and was arrested by the police after he failed to appear to the court despite being sent a legal notice.
Earlier, Faizan Khan informed the media and police that his mobile phone was stolen a few weeks before the threatening call was made. He also added that a case was filed for the stolen phone on November 2. However, the police called him for deeper investigation to Mumbai via a legal notice, but his presence was not shown on the given day. Further reports are yet to be unveiled about how the Mumbai Police is going to take this case ahead.

SRK Death Threat: What Happened?
On November 7, King Khan received a threatening call that demanded of Rs 50 lakhs from him. A stanger on the call said that he is directly calling from outside SRK’s house i,e, Mannat Bandstand. He further made a demand of Rs. 50 lakhs from the actor stating that if he doesn’t give him the amount he will kill him. When the caller was asked about the motive behind his threat, he identified himself as ‘Hindustani’. Right after the threat was issued, Mumbai Police registered a case against the caller under the sections 308(4), 351(3)(4) BNS and went to Raipur for further investigation. While the number belonged to Mohammad Faizan Khan, a lawyer resident of the city, he claimed that the phone was stolen, denying making any calls to anyone.
Another SRK death threat was reported last year during the succes of his films Jawaan and Pathaan. While the two films consistently made headlines for being a big hit, the actor received a threat after which he was offered with a Y+ security.
