Sooryavanshi & ’83 To Release In Theatres On THIS Festivals

PVR Cinemas has confirmed the theatrical release date of the much-awaited films of 2020, Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s '83 . Read below to know more.

Amid the nationwide lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Bollywood industry had come to a sudden halt in the mid of March 2020. Many filmmakers had to postpone the release date of the movies as the theatres across the nation remain shut. While many makers decided to skip the theatrical release of their films and instead took a digital route, some are still waiting for the situation to normalise to release their ventures on a big-screen.

Meanwhile, there’s a piece of good news for all the moviegoers. A while ago, PVR Cinemas took to their social media handle and revealed the release date of the much-awaited films of 2020- Sooryavanshi and ’83.  Amid the on-going pandemic, both the Reliance Entertainment productions had been heavily delayed.

However, now the official release date of Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s ’83 has been announced.

Speaking of Soooryavanshi, the film featuring Akshay Kumar alongside Katrina Kaif as the main lead will release on the occasion of Diwali 2020. The film helmed by Rohit Shetty marks the fourth film in his cop universe. The film was slated to release on March 24, 2020, but got delayed due to the lockdown.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh starrer ’83 will be releasing on Christmas, 2020. The plot of the film is based on the Indian cricket team’s maiden World Cup victory in the year 1983. The film features many prominent faces of the industry playing a pivotal role. ’83 will also feature Deepika Padukone who will play Ranveer’s reel life wife.

83 was scheduled to release on April 10, 2020.

The news about the release dates of these much-awaited films has made fans go gaga and they are hoping for everything to go back to normal till then so that they can enjoy the movies on the big screen.
