Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s highly-awaited film Sikandar is in the making. The much anticipated Sikandar teaser was set to release today, marking the special occasion of Salman Khan’s birthday. However, as a shocking and highly unexpected event, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s demise news came forward. Popularly known as ‘the accidental Prime Minister’, Dr Manmohan Singh was announced dead, on December 26th, Thursday after he was Dr Manmohan Singh, makers of SIKANDAR issues a statement announcing the delay of the teaser release.
Makers Issue New Date For Sikandar Teaser Release
The teaser for Sikandar will now be released on December 28th,Saturday at 11.07 am. Sajid Nadiadwala issued the news by posting about it on the official X account of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The post read, “In light of the passing of our esteemed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we regret to announce that the release of the Sikandar teaser has been postponed to 28th December 11:07 AM. Our thoughts are with the nation during this time of mourning. Thank you for understanding. – #TeamSikandar.” This news was brought out to the public just a few hours before the teaser of Sikandar was scheduled for today.

Talking about Sikandar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan are coming together to work for a movie after quite a long time. They were last seen together in KICK, and conversations about Kick 2 coming soon also swarmed over the internet.In a recent episode of Weekend Ka Vaar at Colors TV Reality Show Bigg Boss 18, Salman Khan disclosed that the idea for KICK 2 was in process, which was when SIKANDAR hit in. The actor liked the script so much that execution on this movie began before than KICK 2.
