Among the new list of the India taxpayers of 2024, Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan has topped the records. With a whopping 92 crores INR, SRK has overruled superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and sportspersons Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.
In the recent list of Fortune India, SRK rules at no.1 to be the highest celebrity taxpayers. The actor has stepped above, grossing higher than Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Akshay Kumar who topped this list in the years 2023,2022 and 2021. MS Dhoni, with a 38 crore amount of tax, was the highest paying celeb last year while Akshay carried the record for the two consecutive years prior 2023.

Thalapathy Vijay Beats BIG B, Salman And Kohli As Highest Taxpayers In 2024
While Shahrukh appears as No.1, Thalapathy Vijay crowned himself as second, beating Big B, Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Vijay paid a total of 85 crores this year to the Income Tax. Amitabh Bachchan paid Rs.71 crores, and Salman Paid a total of Rs.75 crores. If we talk about the sports section, cricketer Virat Kohli has topped the list beating others like Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant paying a huge figure of 66 crores INR in taxes this year.
