Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who was last seen in Anand L Rai’s 2018 film Zero has stayed away from the limelight ever since. The film starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma alongside Shah Rukh Khan was a big dud at the Box Office and the masses were disappointed as well.
The hearsay suggests that Shah Rukh Khan has become picky about the films and its script due to the disappointment his last outing was at the Box Office. However, there have been reports of SRK having signed films.
A while back, King Khan allegedly signed Rajkumar Hirani’s next venture and was to begin shooting for the same in Canada in August. The plans were disrupted due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic, and the makers are reportedly working to get dates that seem like a task amid this situation.
Meanwhile, with a roadblock in the shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s next, the Dilwale actor is reportedly planning to go ahead with Siddharth Anand’s action flick. A source close to the development revealed, “Given the current global crisis, Hirani’s team could not procure the permission to shoot in Canada. So, the director will have to kick off the shoot at a later date. In the meantime, Shah Rukh is considering returning to the big screen with Siddharth’s action-drama. After the raging success of War, Yash Raj Films is keen that he helm another tentpole movie.”
Speculations suggest that the action-drama will be announced on Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary, September 27, 2020. SRK will kick-start the shooting for the action-flick in the month of October.

Speaking of Siddharth Anand, his last outing War starring Hrithik Roshan alongside Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor was massive at the Box Office. The film was the highest grosser in 2019.
On the other hand, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has to date has not given a single flop. His last venture Sanju was one of the massive hits of 2018. Speaking about his next with SRK, the film is already in its post-production stage. The film is said to be on the subject of immigration and will a light-hearted entertainer with a strong emotional message.
Shah Rukh Khan is hoping to return to silver-screen with a bang with these two much-awaited projects in his kitty.
