Selena Gomez Song ‘Cut You Off’ From ‘Rare’ About Justin Bieber?

Selena Gomez just dropped her much-awaited album Rare and like the track Lose You to Love Me, fans are suspecting that the track Cut You Off is about the songstress’ former love Justin Bieber.

Selena Gomez just dropped her latest album Rare on January 10th as promised. The Lose You To Love Me singer has again written lyrics that according to fans, point towards her and ex Justin Bieber’s famous relationship that didn’t end all too well.

After the tracks Lose You To Love Me and Look At Her Now allegedly written about Bieber, the next track Cut You Off starts off like, “Gotta chop chop all the extra weight, I’ve been carrying for 1460 days, Gotta, gotta, gotta clean my slate.” Fans think the song is about Bieber because of the number of days and the relationship timeline of the two ex-lovers.

Fans didn’t take time to put two and two together and tweeted, “Cut you off is totally about Justin,”, “Selena: How could I confuse that s–t for love?…. Ok Justin Bieber she ended you ” Another fan did a tweeted “Selena = lasted 4 years…1460 days = 4 years” while another replied saying, “It’s not about Selena, it’s about the album, it came after 4 years, she waited to tell us the whole story,”.

On a talk show when asked if she wants her “ex” to hear her tracks, Selena said, “Yeah, I do want him to listen. And here’s the whole point, being able to say something on your own, and being able to say something that actually is beautiful. For me, my intentions are never evil. They just aren’t. I don’t even know how to do that. My intentions can be a bit snappy but I always want to come from a place that’s genuine, and when I feel like some things haven’t been said, then, I get to turn things into art.”

“So naturally, for sure I want him to listen” Selena added. “In general, the most important part is that the world got to hear it, and relate to it, and know that they aren’t alone because this feeling that everyone goes through in life is so real. And you just get destroyed. So,  sure.”
