Seems like both Weeknd’d exes Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid have appeared to make amends. Selena was recently seen apologizing to Bella amid the Instagram drama. It all began when Bella shared a picture of herself t from her Dior photo and Selena extended an olive branch by leaving a friendly comment that read, “Stunning .” And though Bella didn’t reply to her comment, as a matter of fact, deleted the post. A fan who noticed the snub pointed it out to Selena who then wrote, “That sucks .”
But now it seems like Selena thinks she posted to soon and to clear the air she in response to an Elle article recapped the online ordeal with Bella. She wrote, “NO. I shouldn’t have spoken without knowing the truth. I’m sorry. Please don’t be hurtful. She is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding.”
Selena and Bella’s friendship is work in progress as Selena began following Bella on Instagram on Nov. 5 but Bella is yet to follow her back. Bella unfollowed Selena’s soon after reports claimed that Selena and The Weeknd were dating, back in Jan 2017. But those reports seemed to be true as Selena and The Weeknd enjoyed a 10-month romance.
But their relationship didn’t last and Selena went on to date her ex Justin Bieber by the end of 2017, while even Bella was seen giving her and The Weeknd romance another shot. Though Bella and the Weeknd were seen kissing again in Coachella in April of 2018, their split was reportedly announced by Aug. 2019.
