The grand wedding of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani took place on July 12th, 2024 grabbing all the attention from worldwide. The Ambani bahu brought a fairytale into life with her dolled-up look. Radhika wore a red and white bright lehenga, designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Her entire look was spruced up by layered jewellery followed by a kundan choker around her neck. While the internet is busy applauding her attire, reports suggest that the bride, Ambani, wore her sister’s wedding ornaments on her special day.

Radhika chose to wear a polki-kundan choker that originally belonged to her sister, Anjali Merchant. Anjali wore them at her wedding in the year 2020. Besides a choker, Radhika also borrowed her sister’s mangtika., haath phool and similar hand accessories for the big day. This not only added a sense of graciousness but showed Radhika’s familial sentiment broadly.
According to the makeup specialist, Rhea Kapoor, all of Radhika’s ornaments were borrowed from the ladies of the Merchant Family. This is their family tradition followed since the beginning and Radhika made sure to carry it forward with complete finesse.
For her vidaai ceremony, Radhika opted for a phenomenal multi-panelled Banarasi brocade red lehenga, by Manish Malhotra. This attire was a “tribute” by Malhotra to the timeless elegance of India. The Ambani bahu amplified all her looks being the celestial beauty of the wedding.
