Saif Ali Khan REACTS To Shah Rukh Khan’s Long Break From Movies

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Anand L Rai’s 2018 film Zero alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film underperformed at the Box Office and Shah Rukh since then took a long break from the limelight. Although his name features in the headlines sometimes but it is never for any upcoming movies.

Speaking of SRK’s absence from the entertainment industry his Kal Ho Na Ho co-star Saif Ali Khan opened up about his opinion on the same. In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan expressed his views by saying that how Shah Rukh Khan has been associated with a certain era and his fans think that that is where he belongs.

Saif also believes that the reason for SRK’s recent films failing at the Box Office might be this mentality of his fans. The Tanhaji actor also suggested that maybe Shah Rukh needs to readjust and get back stronger.

Saif said, “SRK if he is finding a little bit of a tricky time on which film to do or how to be seen, I don’t know I was thinking about it the other day. Maybe he is so strongly identified with a certain era and becoming the face of Bollywood, on many different platforms. So he has become synonymous with a certain era and when that era passes, you probably need to re-adjust. But he, like all of them, are amazing survivors.”

Saif further added that how one cannot write off anybody just like that. He went on to say that there are good times and bad times both and they have seen it all. He also mentioned that 90s actor has certain resilience and it all just boils down to them finding the right project to prove their worth.

Saif Ali Khan also spoke about the other two Khans- Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. Saif said, “Salman was a superstar from the first shot he gave. Aamir has always made good cinematic choices, he pioneered so many new things.”

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the super hit film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior alongside Ajay Devgn. Post Tanhaji, he was seen in Jawaani Jaaneman opposite newcomer Alaya F and the 90s diva Tabu.
