Yeh Rishte Hain Pyar Ke fame Ritvik Arora has been replaced by the showmakers as the production claim actors’ unprofessional behavior and impractical demands led them to take such hard step. Previously, producer Rajan Shahi didn’t take anyone’s name but now in an interview, he revealed that it was Ritvik. Reportedly, the production is already in a lookout for his replacement. In an interview, Rajan shared exactly what happened between the actor and production, he revealed, “A few weeks ago our supervising producer Vivek Jain called Ritvik. He said he could start shooting from July 1, but we should first speak to his father. That itself was unprofessional because he’s the actor, who has signed a contract with us. Yet, Vivek called his father, who asked for a raise in his remuneration, almost double of what he was being paid, and also a minimum 25-day work guarantee. What’s really wrong is the way he communicated it saying, ‘Don’t even think of calling back if you want to negotiate’. After this, Vivek reached out to Ritvik again, and even this time, he told us to speak to his father.” However, Ritvik on the other hand says his family is worried as one of his uncles passed away Coronavirus, then they heard Parth Samthaan tested positive which made them more worried. Reportedly, he didn’t know that his father had asked extra pay which even Ritvik agrees was wrong. Furthermore, Ritvik claims he apologized to the production but they’ve already made up their mind to replace the actor. Ritvik’s character of Kunal was appreciated by the audience. It will be interesting to see who steps into his shoes on the show.
