Risen to fame with the Colors TV daily soap ‘Uttaran’, Rashami Desai is a household favorite. Her unforgettable charm on the small screen has touched many hearts, after which she gained traction by appearing in the famous reality TV Show- Bigg Boss 13. The actress was seen sharing the show with his co-star from serial Dil se Dil Tak, Sidharth Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin and many others. But, like every actor in the industry, Rashami Desai also became the victim of casting couch. The Uttaran actress recently revealed how she was just 16 when she faced an oppresive behaviour by one of the notable individuals of the industry.
He Tried To Make Me Unconscious: Rashami Desai
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Rashami Desai opened up, recalling a tragic memory where she was called for an audition but ended up being intimidated by the opposite person. Though the name is still a hidden mystery, Rashami added that when she reached the given location, she observed that there was nobody else except her. Later, the man tried making her unconscious and uncomfortable thereafter. Though the young Rashami never kept quiet on this. After escaping from the situation, Rashami Desai said she came back the other day with her mom. “My mother had slapped him to teach a lesson”, she added.
Later, she also mentioned that she has been grateful enough that god has been kind to her and she got an opportunity to work with some awesome people in her acting career.
Talking about the work done in the past, Rashami Desai gained immense popularity with Uttaran, Dil Se Dil Tak, Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Adhuri Kahaani Hamari. The actress also made headlines, raising speculations on her bond with late actor Sidhharth Shukla. Also, she was seen in Mission Laila, Hisaab Barabar and Evara-Blessing of God.
