Actor Rana Daggubati recently got engaged to entrepreneur Miheeka Bajaj in a small-ceremony amid the lockdown. The Baahubali actor shared the pictures of their celebration on social media and surprised his fans. They conducted the Roka ceremony in the presence of close friends and family.
Meanwhile, everyone was speculating about when the lovebirds will tie the knot pertaining to the on-going health crises. Recently, when Rana was asked about if he has some plans for a grand wedding, he said, “Depends on the world’s situation. I found the strangest time to get married.”
However, as per the reports, Rana’s father, Suresh Babu, has confirmed that the actor will be getting married in August. The wedding ceremony will see the presence of both of their families and a couple of close friends. They will also follow the social distancing guidelines issued by the authorities owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to some sources close to Rana and Miheeka, the couple will precisely tie the knot on August 8.
A couple of days back Rana revealed how the love story between him and Miheeka Bajaj blossomed. He said, “She knew where I’m getting at when I called her. I remember I said a bunch of things together. For me, it was serious. It was commitment. When I met her, that’s the time I felt I am ready to do this. It was that simple, for real.”
The Kaadan actor also admitted that he wasn’t consciously thinking about getting married but when he met his now-fiancé he knew that he had found love and that was it.
On the profession front, Rana Daggubati will be next seen in Haathi Mere Saathi. The film was slated to release on April 12, 2020, but due to the lockdown and theatres being shut, the release of the movie has been indefinitely postponed.
