On Friday, November 29th, a shocking report claimed that Maharashtra’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) held a raid at Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra’s house. While the claims were later falsified by Kundra’s lawyer and were called ‘misleading’, a new response from Raj Kundra himself has come up at the forefront. Kundra broke his silence to refute the dissapointing rumors on social media.
Raj Kundra took to his instagram to write, “To whom it may concern, While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let’s set the record straight: I’m fully complying with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the last four years. As for the claims of ‘associates’, ‘pornographic’ and ‘money laundering’, let’s just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth, in the end, justice will prevail!”
At the end of his penned message, he also addressed the media to stop dragging wife Shilpa Shetty’s name in the entire matter and requested to maintain the boundaries. This message by Raj Kundra strongly reflects that he is not denying any investigation informations, but just wishes to keep wife Shilpa Shetty’s name away from it, as she holds no association in any previous case of pornography or money laundering.
Raj Kundra ‘s Lawyer Refuted Rumours Of Raids
Just hours after the news of raid at Raj Kundra’s residence and office was out, his lawyer Prashant Patil issued a statement that the reports of raid at Shilpa Shetty’s house are completely untrue and misleading. Because Shilpa Shetty’s name took too much of spotlight in the whole scenario, the lawyer has highlighted the fact that Shilpa has nothing to do with the offence and investigation carried thereafter.
Further Patil said that Kundra is cooperating in an ongoing investigation. “The case in question is an ongoing investigation regarding Mr Raj Kundra and he is cooperating with the investigation for truth to come out“.
